Autodesk acquired Navisworks

Autodesk, a Nasdaq-listed company, announced Monday that, it has completed the acquisition of Navisworks, based in Sheffield, for $26 million, or about Rs 1,04,93,60,665. According to GAAP, this transaction will reduce fiscal earnings per diluted share by $0.01. The in-process R&D costs that this transaction incurs, along with the amortization of acquisition-related intangibles, are not expected to affect the company's fiscal non-GAAP earnings.

As part of a joint venture, Autodesk and Navisworks will provide an even more comprehensive suite of design and construction products. As a result of the addition of Navisworks technology to the Autodesk product portfolio, customers of Autodesk will be able to consolidate design information from multiple platforms, including Autodesk and non-Autodesk applications. Across the design and construction industries, Autodesk and Navisworks will deliver an integrated suite of solutions, the company announced. Autodesk customers will benefit from Navisworks being brought into their portfolio.
